Why choose me?
Passionate and approachable:
I am a friendly down-to-earth former-GCSE-art-student-turned-tutor (I get the Art GCSE anxiety!). I approach all sessions with my tutees with patience, understanding and kindness.
I am well-prepared and create engaging sessions where my tutees feel comfortable and welcome - at home or over a video call.
Experienced:
I have 10+ years of experience as a graphic designer, illustrator and tutor.
I also have significant experience working with SEN and neurodivergent students.
Personalised 1-2-1 support:
I create unique structured plans and resources for each tutee to give them any tools they may need
to produce high-quality work.
Clear communication:
I provide regular up-to-date communication with parents, including progress milestones - I also provide concise friendly and encouraging feedback to my tutees, focusing on achievements and areas for us
to work on together.
Stress-free Solution
(for both parents and students!):
My tutoring style is open and fun. This approach helps improve self-confidence and reduces anxiety about
elements of the Art GCSE.
Time management:
This is so important, my structured sessions ensure we stay on track and allow for your child to have more time to focus on their other core subjects as well as have more free time for themselves.
I have spoken to many students about their Art GCSE - they all said that they spend way too much time on Art and felt that their other subjects suffered - especially English and Maths

Harry's Mum and Dad
"We were worried that Harry was falling behind in Maths because he spent so much time on his art coursework. Jess was great at helping him organise his art workload so that he could spend more time on his Maths.
She took a huge weight off our shoulders and he did well in
both his Art and Maths!"

Sam's Dad
"Jess was friendly and accommodating to Sam's SEN support needs. She was understanding and really helped him with his confidence. She was brilliant with working through his coursework with him and breaking it down into more manageable chunks."

Lily's Mum
"It was nice having a tutor that understood what Lily was going through. She had some fantastic tips that helped Lily with her coursework.
It made a huge difference to Lily's stress levels and she came out with a Level 8."
